During the procedure, blood is taken from the patient and then put through a centrifuge machine. The machine separates the platelets from the red blood cells. These platelets are known to have various healing qualities and growth factors that help rejuvenate the skin. The platelet-rich plasma is driven into the skin during microneedling to utilize the nutrients as healing takes place. The PRP is applied following the Virtue treatment and before the soothing mask.
